Cyber Sounds and Colorgrams

Was the name of a
showing of work by
photographer Scotty Sapiro,
and electronic artist Einar Ask.

The prints on this page and in the center of the photo to the left are called "COLORGRAMS"©.

It's a new art form emerging through the medium of creating abstract color images directly onto photographic paper.

Scotty Sapiro, a former student of Man Ray who pioneered "Ray-o-grams," ardently pursued the imaging of this illusive technique in color.

Early in 1988 Scotty broke through with his first color images and named them "COLORGRAMS." He introduced this new art form to the world in October, 1988 at the Seattle Trade Center's 2nd annual Art Expo, with follow up exhibits in Dusseldorf, Germany, and in Atlanta in 1990.

All Colorgram images are one of a kind and are available in varying sizes up to 40x60 inches.

More information about Scotty and ColorGrams is available here.

In this gallery show many colorgrams will be on display, as well as Einar Ask's "Speaking Orbs."

Email einar@einar.com if you would like more information.

The Colorgram images on and referred to from this page are the property of Scotty Sapiro. Please request permission if you wish to use them in any way.
